The displaced communities in Birnin Gwari local government cry out over their conditions of living at the local government secretariat.
The victims are taking a refuge at the local government secretariat in Birnin Gwari town.
They expressed dismay over the situation called on government and non governmental organisations to come to their aid to reduce their sufferings
Over five thousand people were displaced by bandits in over two weeks ago across western part of Birnin Gwari and take refuge at the local government secretariat.
Some of the victims interviewed said "we were displaced from our houses, we don't have food to eat with our families, we want to go back to our homes and we want to go to farm as the rainy season is fast approaching"
They urged Kaduna State government to assist them with security personnel as they are facing a lot of security challenges.
The spokespersons of the victims who applauded the effort of the local government called on the federal state governments and non governmental organisations to come to their aid to reduce their hardship especially now that the rainy season is approaching.
They stressed the need for governments to take drastic effort to bring the end of banditry and kidnappings across the country and area in particular to ensure a peace of mind to the people especially the villagers who depend on farming activities.
The displaced people also called on the government to provide a camps for the displaced victims to discouraged them from staying at public buildings.
All effort to contact the sole administrator or any official of the local government for comment on the situation of the displaced people through phone proved abortive.
