DMF Football Academy have emerged Champions of the just concluded Alhaji Dahiru Ahmad U-10 Boys football Competition 2022 after beating Yarima football Academy of Rigasa on penalty shootout.
Ismail Usman of DMF Academy opened the scoring in the 21th minutes of the game while Hassan Shuaibu of Yarima Academy level the game with a brilliant placing were the match ended 1-1 in the regulation time.
Yarima Academy lost two penalty shootouts while DMF Academy scored all the 5 penalties to emerged Champions of the competition.
Khalid Ibrahim was awarded man of the match, Auwal Ibrahim best Goalkeeper, Hassan Shuaibu Highest goal scorer and Abubakar Auwal of Yarima Academy emerged as the best player of the tournament.
Speaking after the final match, the organiser of the Competition Alhaji Dahiru Ahmad expressed happiness with the level of sportsmanship displayed by the two teams, congratulating the winners for the victory.
