The Chairman of Makarfi Local Government Area, Honorable Garba Mohammed Sabon Gari, has dismissed former Governor Nasiru Ahmed Elrufa'i's allegations that local government councils are unable to pay salaries due to not receiving complete allocations.
Sabon Gari described the claims as baseless and mere thinking aimed at misleading the people of Kaduna State.
Hon.Sabon Gari confidently stated that primary school teachers, health workers, and local government council staff are now receiving their salaries in full and on time, with salary increments.
He emphasized that workers in Kaduna State are now safer and enjoying their constitutional rights under Governor Uba Sani's administration, unlike the previous administration.
The council chairman warned Nasiru Elrufa'i to focus on his own affairs rather than interfering with Governor Uba Sani's administration, which has been welcomed by the people of Kaduna State.
He advised the public to disregard Elrufa'i's allegations and continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy.
Honorable Garba Sabon Gari expressed appreciation to the workers of Makarfi Local Government Council for their dedication and urged them to remain committed to their duties.
He assured them that the council will continue to meet their needs and prioritize their welfare.
