A total of one hundred students of A.B Na’ibi College of Nursing Sciences, Lau Town in Taraba State, have been awarded scholarships during the institution’s first matriculation ceremony, in a gesture aimed at supporting access to education and strengthening healthcare training in Nigeria.
The scholarships were announced by Alhaji Ibrahim Rilwan Muhammad, Honorary Special Adviser on Humanitarian Affairs and Chief Executive Officer of the IRM Foundation, who represented the Executive Governor of Kaduna State at the event. According to him, fifty students will benefit from scholarships under the IRM Foundation, while another fifty scholarships are being sponsored through the Lubna Baba Gusau Foundation on behalf of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State.
Speaking at the ceremony, Alhaji Ibrahim Rilwan Muhammad congratulated the pioneer students and described the intervention as part of a broader commitment by the Kaduna State Government and its partners to invest in human capital development. He commended the management of the college for its role in training future healthcare professionals and urged the beneficiaries to remain focused and committed to their studies.
