Muslim Youth Forum of South Kaduna organized Ramadan lecture and distributes food items to vulnerable people in Kaduna.
The event which took place at the banquet hall of the Sir Ahmad Bello foundation, had in attendance the deputy governor of Kaduna state, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, who is also the chief host at the event, commended the forum for fostering unity among the people of ,Southern Kaduna.
She stated that, the forum has demonstrated commitment in developing unity and thank them for the opportunity to gain more knowledge on the importance of entrenching righteousness among the Muslim Ummah. Lastly, she prayed that Muslims will use the knowledge gained from the lecture to discover ways to foster unity and explore models that will help us solve our problems , noting that the strength of the Ummah lies in it unity. She urged Muslims to continue to be agents of change among the people.
In his welcome address, the chairman of the occasion, AVM Muhammad Rabiu Dabo who was represented by the permanent secretary, civil Service Commission, Alh. Shehu Usman Salihu, says that the lecture is important in guiding Muslim Ummah toward becoming better people. He called on the Muslim Ummah to look inward and find solution withing themselves.
Also commenting after delivering lecture on the Role of Ummah in entrenching righteousness, unity and progressive for socioeconomic development, the chief Imam of Maiduguri road Juma'at mosque, Prof Muhammad Yahaya Mujaheed, says islam was built on the principles of righteousness , saying Islam has enjoined Muslims to be righteous in everything they do.
Highlight of the event was the distribution of food items to vulnerable households from each local government from Southern Kaduna.
