The Ikulu Development Association Kaduna branch has ushered in a new era with the election of Malam Umar Ashafa as chairman, alongside 13 new executive members.

The election, which was conducted in a free and fair manner, saw Malam Umar Ashafa emerge victorious with 14 votes, a testament to his popularity and the trust reposed in him by the delegates.
The new executive members will serve a three-years term, working tirelessly to reposition the association and bring about positive change.
In his acceptance speech, Chairman Umar Ashafa expressed heartfelt gratitude to Allah and the delegates for entrusting him with this responsibility.
He pledged to live up to expectations, embracing advice and promoting inclusive leadership for the collective goal of Ikulu land's progress. He emphasized that they will leave no one behind, outlining plans for an all-encompassing approach to leadership.
